Lynn C. Burnett, Hope & Honor House Co-Founder

I was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, the middle child of military parents. My dad spent his 23-year career in the Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. I have 3 older brothers and 3 younger sisters, all veterans or spouses of veterans. At age 1 my sister was born, and we began moving. We spent 4 years in Japan, 1 year in the Philippines, 5 years in Germany and a year in Okinawa before returning to the US and settling in North Carolina. I graduated from Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, NC and then attended the USMA at West Point and Troy State University where I finished my first degree. I then joined the military and served 13 years as an airborne Ranger and Ranger instructor. After the military I ran a finance company, worked as a mortgage broker and a real estate agent in Seattle, WA. I also started my own online business which is still in operation today. In 2014 I moved my family to Arizona, and we settled in Chandler. I became a pilot in 2019 and will graduate as a Certified Flight Instructor with a degree in Airway Science Technology/Flight in May 2024. I have 2 daughters, Grace 22, a model signed with Elite Model and Talent, who recently moved to New York City, and Hannah 18, a recent graduate of Perry High School, now working in real estate.

Diane Burnett, Hope & Honor House Co-Founder

I was born and raised in Fairfield, NJ, the middle child of 5 siblings. My 2 older brothers served in Vietnam in the Army and the Air Force, and my grandfather served in Patton's 7th Army during WWII. I attended West Essex High School in North Caldwell, NJ and Fairleigh Dickinson University in East Rutherford, New Jersey. I earned my Bachelor of Science in marketing. Later, I took classes in Corporate and Organizational Communications as well as obtained a certificate in pet grooming. I lived most of my life in New Jersey until moving to Arizona in 2001. While here I followed my love for animals and earned my Certificate as a Certified Veterinary technician specializing in surgery and dentistry. After 18 years I decided to go back into the corporate world. I currently work for a corporate logistics company as a Senior customer service representative. In 2021 I started a Property Management business. I currently live in Chandler, close to my mom and 2 grown sons. Michael is 24, an English tutor and guitarist. Steven is 21, works in retail and is engaged to be married.
